How to Allow Comments and Comment Moderation for a Media
VIDIZMO allows comments and comment moderation to be configured at two levels: portal-wide settings and individual media settings.
Prerequisites
- Belong to a group with Allow Commenting and Comment Settings permission to configure portal-level settings.
- Users without this permission can only configure comment settings on individual media files they own.
Comment Options
The following comment options are available at both portal and media levels:

| Allow Comment Moderation | Require comments to be approved before publishing |
| Allow Anonymous Comments | Allow users to post comments without revealing their identity |
| Enforce Anonymous Comments | Force all comments to be posted anonymously |
| Allow Moderators To Identify Users | Enable moderators to view the identity of anonymous commenters |
Configure Comments at Portal Level
Portal-level settings become the default for all newly uploaded media.
- In VIDIZMO, go to Admin > Portal Settings.
- Select Library > Comments.
- Configure the comment options as needed.
- Select Update.
Configure Comments for Individual Media
Users can override portal defaults for specific media files.
- In VIDIZMO, go to Admin > Media Manager.
- Select the overflow menu on the media file.
- Select Settings.
- Select the Publish tab.
- Configure the comment options as needed.
- Select Save and Close.
NOTE: These settings can be configured during initial upload or modified later through Media Settings.
